Unfortunately, social media platforms are not always used in the most positive way. However, this week Twitter enforced a new policy that combats abusive and hateful conduct and accounts.  . Any tweets that glorify violence or agree with the acts will have their accounts suspended and permanently removed if they violate the policy more than once. However, there is one exception that is raising concern to everyday citizens and that is all government and armed forces are excluded from the policy. Twitter did say they will be reviewing the policies and make adjustments as needed as they implement the new rules.
