Spinning Out

d-1.jpg

It’s Friday and we are going to be busting out all the spooky-cute Halloween decorations this weekend and making pumpkin spiced coconut + cashew vegan truffles. First things first, our favorite reads from the week for #FreshFriday. Tour De Finance (Well+Good)

We all love spin class but fighting over a good bike and time slot with the best instructor is enough to stay home on a Saturday morning. Now you can stay home with Peloton as they just released a new financing system so anyone can have access to the cutting-edge spin bike. A Peloton goes for $2,000 and if you’re like us we don’t have that kind of change lying around but now you can pay $97 a month (with no interest) for 39 months, which includes access to all of the unlimited live on-demand classes. So ditch the gym membership and hassle, create your own playlist and bring Soulcycle to your living room.

Make It Rain (Mind Body Green)

Just because summer is over, doesn’t mean you should cut back on your daily water intake. Besides staying hydrated there are 6 other reasons why you should drink more water. Studies show that water can give you a productivity boost when you’re hitting that afternoon slump and even subconsciously encourages you to sit less and move more. Water also has the ability to lubricate stiff and sore joints along with improving digestion. Last but not least, drinking water boosts your metabolism and helps you fall asleep. So bye rose we’re drinking water today!

Beauty Madewell (Refinery29)

Our favorite denim brand that believes in doing what they can when they can (like building houses out of recycled denim) got the memo that good days start with great jeans AND skincare. Madewell has released its own skin care, makeup, and hair section named the Madewell Beauty Cabinet. The new one-stop shop will carry French Girl, Herbivore, and RMS beauty to name a few. All of the products are tried and true to Madewell’s brand and are affordable for anyone to have a treat yourself day.

Fall La La La La (The LA Girl)

It’s fall in LA and even though it doesn’t feel like it there are plenty of happenings around the city to get you in the spirit. Some of our favorite things from this round-up include a trip to Mr. Bone’s Pumpkin Patch, The Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, Oktoberfest, Universal Studios Halloween Horror Night, and Dia de Los Muertos. Anyone of these will get you in the fall mood if your #PSL isn’t making the cut.

Have a great weekend!
