Speaking of Hurricane Harvey, Anheuser-Busch recently stood out among the rest when they stopped production of their beer to provide water to the hurricane victims. Anheuser-Busch sent over 500,000 cans of water to Texas, and this isn’t the first time they have helped. Each year they pause beer production to have emergency canned water ready for any crisis throughout the country.

Everybody’s favorite smartwatch company, Fitbit, is getting a major update. The Ionic Smartwatch is the 2017 must-have wrist accessory. Not only does it have a sleek new design, it finally has smartphone notifications, SmartTrack that automatically tracks your workout, apps including Starbucks and Pandora and Fitbit Pay. Oh, you thought that was all? Think again because the Ionic also has a continuous heart rate monitor, 4-7 days of battery life and built in GPS – all while staying 100% waterproof. What a mouthful…or should we say wristful?

A light at the end of the tunnel this week. Target is releasing a line of $5 dollar wines which is just what we needed. Starting Sunday, September 3 you’ll be able to purchase any five of the California Roots line from Moscato, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Cabernet Sauvignon and Red Blend. The line is here to stay and is available at any location that sells alcohol. Our souls (and pockets) are very happy.

What better way to end summer than with a dinner party at The Best Restaurant In The World? Eleven Madison Park shut down in June for renovations, but is back and better than ever opening again on October 8. This dining experience may break your wallet but the new designs and plans make it worth it. Reservations have already gone through the roof and you know we’re on the list. XOXO
