Happy Friday! A little birdy told us that summer is more than halfway over and we are FREAKING out! Time really does fly by when you are having fun! But have no fear, we can’t wait for what’s to come because we’ve saved our best adventures for last. Orange is the New Carrot (Well + Good)
Remember when you were a kid and your mom constantly reminded you to eat your carrots or else you’d go blind? Turns out that this crunchy snack has a newer, sweeter, alternative.  A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that an apple a day isn’t the only fruit that can keep the doctor away. They found that people who ate at least one orange a day reduced their risk of developing macular degeneration (that’s just a fancy word for vision loss) by 60%. Looks like it’s time to upgrade your daily cup of joe to something a little bit sweeter.
