Don’t Forget the Flowers….

LA is currently experiencing a slight drizzle but that doesn’t mean we aren’t in full summer prep! Between brightening our skin with face masks to planning our summer trips, we are fully anticipating the warm months ahead. This weekend we are celebrating our moms and all the women in our world who have uniquely influenced us, so take a peek below for some ways to celebrate mom or simply celebrate life.

Rally around your tribe this Mother’s Day (Darling Magazine)
Motherhood and all it stands for — nurturing, femininity, triumph, loss, sacrifice — is tender and precious for anyone. Each of us comes with a unique story connected to motherhood — for some there is a sense of longing while another another may feel overwhelmed with gratitude. With Mother’s Day this weekend, we each have an opportunity to look within our sphere of influence and see our friends and the unexpected feelings that this day might present. So this weekend, rally around the women you love and remind them that they are seen in all their joy and pain.

You are going to want to bookmark this…  (GirlBoss)
You may have noticed that we are obsessed with supporting women-run businesses. After all, clover PR fits the bill. Last week GirlBoss partnered with Google to showcase 50 small businesses run by women at their GirlBossRallyLA. You better believe that we are bookmarking this list to have on hand when shop for virtually anything. From homegoods to nail decals, these bad-ass brands have you covered!

Exfoliate, Hydrate, Brighten, Repeat (Domino)
Face masks are having a major moment. You might have even noticed our team testing out a Dermovia mask this week in our Instagram stories. The folks over at Domino know their stuff so when they promise this DIY face mask will leave your skin with a glow, we believe them. This mixture of saffron, yogurt and raw honey sounds like just the combination to brighten and soothe our skin. Adding to the weekend lineup!

From Sea to Shining Sea (Sunset)
Summer’s approaching and vacay plans are top of mind.  Taking a trip to visit one of our country’s national parks is a memory you will carry forever. Whether you are staring up Half Dome at Yosemite or experiencing Aurora Borealis at Denali,it’s helpful to come armed with some insider secrets to maximize your trip. Sunset Magazine tapped experts at top national parks to share the best times to visit and the coolest things to see. Where will you go first?

Have a great weekend!

xx, team clover
